With the opening of the Persian restaurant, Bürgenstock Resort Lake Lucerne welcomes the Iranian becomes the new speciality chef. He has 33 years of professional experience and has already worked in Malaysia, Oman and most recently in Qatar, where he developed the concept for the first two Parisa restaurants. He now brings this knowledge exclusively to Switzerland. “This marks the beginning of a new chapter in my life and in my professional activities as a chef,” says the 49-year-old.
The Iranian’s origins and professional stations fit perfectly with the concept of the Parisa restaurant at the Bürgenstock Resort: he takes care of the traditional production of Persian dishes, and he uses them to bring splendid colors to the plates that match the interior. In addition to designing the menus, his duties include training the staff, but his favorite part of the job is working at the pots and pans: “Ever since I was a little boy, I’ve been practicing in my mother’s kitchen and dreaming of becoming a chef one day. It gives me so much pleasure when people taste my food, enjoy my cooking, and praise my work,” says Mohammad ali Ravanparast.
